Individual Driver Risk Assessment
What is involved?
This online risk assessment follows the recommendations set out in the HSE document “Driving at work” and collates information on individual drivers under three main headings: the driver, the journey/task and the vehicle. Each section consists of a series of simple tick box questions, with the answers being used to gauge the risk rating of individual drivers. Drivers can complete the assessment in a matter of minutes from any Internet –enabled PC. The results are then compiled onto a manager’s report detailing the various risk levels.
What are the benefits?
The simple and cost effective tool gives fleet managers peace of mind that that they have a procedure in place to gather information on the three key areas as outlined in the HSE guidelines: the driver, the journey/task and the vehicle. The findings put the manager in an informed position and are able to make decisions regarding any future training requirements
