Avoid Whiplash With These Simple Steps

A properly adjusted head restraint will help to protect you against whiplash, and potentially save you from a A poorly adjusted head restraintlong-term injury. Whether you are a driver or a passenger you must always ensure that your head restraint is adjusted properly:

  • Ensure that the top of the head restraint is as high as the top of your head
  • Position the head restraint as close to the rear of your head as possible.

Trampoline Safety Tips

Following a review of resuscitation science, revised CPR guidelines have been issued which focus on a back-to-basics approach and are therefore easier to learn. 30 chest compressions are now recommended for every 2 rescue breaths. There have been at least six deaths involving mini-motorbikes in the last two years and many more people are likely to have been injured. RoSPA has been campaigning for tighter controls and better provision for their use and have issued guidance to help parents who are considering purchasing a mini-motorbike.

Additional Hertfordshire Training Dates

Due to popular demand we are now able to offer our popular Display Screen Equipment Training course in Hertfordshire. This two-day course will take place on 22-23 January 2007 and costs Members just £220 and non-members £240.
